Economics Minor

Students who are interested in economics have the opportunity to minor in the field. The program consists of 16 credit hours (5 courses) of strictly economic courses.

The courses include:

  • ECON 201 - Principles of Microeconomics
  • ECON 202 - Principles of Macroeconomics - (Prerequisite: ECON 201)
  • ECON 460 - Seminar in Economics
  • ECON 300+ - Upper Level Economic (6 credits)

Students must complete at least half the course work at Alfred University and achieve a grade point average of at least 2.0 "C" in all courses for completion of the minor.
